ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Here in PT. Kahatex, we truly care about environmental sustainability and responsibility. In order to manufacture safe-to-use products whilst maintaining non-harmful waste, we choose only to use bluesign(r) and Oeko-Tex approved chemicals in our finishing proccesses.

PT. Kahatex is a proud member of Social GRS (Global Recycle Standard), GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), and Higg Index.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFETY

PT. Kahatex believes that in order to succeed, we must make sure that our employees are well cared for and are able to work in a healthy and harmonious environment. We make sure to care for each and every one of our employees in every position. We provide facilities for the sake of the well-being of our employees such as : mosques, dormitories, clinics, canteens, daily drinking waters (RO), and sport & recreational centres.

Safety is of upmost importance in our company.

• We employ hundreds of police-certified security staff to ensure the personal-safety of all our employees.
• We have our own fire department, equipped with well-trained staff along with 5 units of certified fire engines to maintain fire safety across the factories.
• We have a medical centre, built in partnership with Kasih Bunda hospital, equipped with fully trained doctors and medical staff to handle all sorts of emergency aids

PT. Kahatex offers special consideration programs for employees with disabilities. We ensure that every one has a fair workplace environment.

PT. Kahatex promotes social programmes such as : blood donors, infrastructure development around the factory, and giving clean water for local residents.
